Every year on March 24, the world observes World Tuberculosis Day to raise awareness of the disease's global epidemic and efforts to combat it. 10 million people were diagnosed with TB in 2018, and 1.5 million people passed away from the illness. A "One World TB Summit" will be held in Varanasi's Rudrakash Convention Center on this occasion.
