With the help of the World Food Prize Foundation, agricultural scientist Swati Nayak became the third Indian to receive the prestigious Norman E. Borlaug Award for Field Research and Application for 2023. Ms. Nayak works for the International Rice Research Institute (IRRI) in New Delhi as the South Asia Lead for Seed System and Product Management.
