For a total of 11,603 crore, Axis Bank successfully acquired Citigroup's consumer business in India. The consumer businesses of non-banking financial companies (NBFCs) and Citibank were successfully acquired by the private sector lender. Institutional client companies of Citi in India are not included in the sale.
