The Mumbai Police have so far this year saved more than 5,000 minors as part of "Operation Muskaan," a Ministry of Home Affairs initiative. It seeks to locate missing children, save them, and help them get back on track. Up until August of this year, the Mumbai Police had saved more kids than they had in the previous five years put together.
