The World Health Organization just established the Global Alliance for Drowning Prevention. Its goal is to stop drowning globally. Up until 2029, this alliance will be the first to address the problem's global public health concerns. In order to reduce risks, the resolution urged member states to examine national drowning scenarios in each nation and put policies and programs in place.
