In New Delhi, the Minister of Electronics and Information Technology, Ashwini Vaishnaw, unveiled the 'Digital Payments Utsav,' a comprehensive campaign plan. This year's Digital Payments Utsav is being held to commemorate the G20 Presidency and 'Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav' in addition to promoting digital payments throughout the nation. In order to raise public awareness of digital payment options, the Digital Payment Sandesh Yatra was also launched. Banks that excel in digital payments were given DigiDhan awards.
