In the Gulf of Guinea, India and the European Union just finished their first combined naval drill. The drill came after the third EU-India Maritime Security Dialogue meeting in Brussels. Three ships from EU member states joined the Indian Navy's offshore patrol vessel, INS Sumedha, in the Gulf of Guinea during the exercise.
