The Food and Agricultural Organization of the United Nations (FAO) has released its most recent Food Price Index (FFPI), which tracks the monthly changes in the prices of cereals, vegetable oils, dairy products, meat, and sugar around the world. In December, the FFPI averaged 132.4 points, a 1% decline from November's 132.4 points. In comparison to 2021, the FFPI increased noticeably in 2022.
