For the purpose of streamlining the registration of Compressed Bio-Gas and biogas facilities across the nation, the Ministry of Jal Shakti's Department of Drinking Water and Sanitation has launched the Unified Registration Portal for GOBARdhan. More than 1,163 biogas plants and 426 CBG plants are currently registered on the portal, making them eligible for support through the Department of Fertilizers' Market Development Assistance scheme.
