Government e-marketplace (GeM) recorded its highest-ever Gross Merchandise Value of 2,01,113 crore in Financial Year 2022–23. According to the Economic Survey 2021–22, prices for 10 out of 22 commodities were found to be 9.5% lower on GeM when compared to other online marketplaces.
