On October 10, the International Monetary Fund revised its growth prediction for India's fiscal year 2023–2024 upward. Instead of growing at 6.1 percent as predicted in the previous forecast, the country is likely to expand at 6.3 percent. Prior to this, the World Bank maintained its 6.3 percent growth forecast for India in October, citing robust services activity. The Asian Development Bank forecast India's growth to be 6.3 percent in September.
