Where was the India’s first Future LABS center inaugurated?

The first FutureLABS center in India was opened by Union Minister Rajeev Chandrasekhar at the Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC) in Thiruvananthapuram. The center will concentrate on semiconductor chips and strategic electronics. Fostering chip design, manufacturing, and research is its goal. An MoU with Tata Power regarding microgrid technology was also announced, along with collaboration with the Ministry of Railways for the development of electric locomotive technology. Additionally, BelRise Industries Limited will receive the technology for wireless chargers for electric vehicles developed by C-DAC(T) and VNIT Nagpur. The center's opportunities were presented to more than one hundred students.
