At Kalinga Stadium in Bhubaneshwar, Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik dedicated the country's first indoor swimming and athletic facilities and placed the cornerstone for an indoor diving facility. The stadium, which cost Rs 120 crore, has 120 athlete spaces along with locker rooms, a pantry, and coaching facilities. It has a 10,000 square meter Mondo SpA track and holds both national and international competitions. With the goal of advancing athletics across the country, it serves as a training center for the Odisha Reliance Foundation Athletics High-Performance Centre.
