A day after the Patna High Court granted the State government's request to continue, Bihar's caste-based survey was once again conducted. All of the petitions brought up in opposition to the Bihar government's decision to carry out a caste-based survey have been dismissed by the Patna High Court. The survey is being carried out at a cost of 500 crore, as authorized by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar's Cabinet.
