The fifth Tiger Reserve in Rajasthan, located in Dholpur-Karauli, has received final approval from the Union Ministry of Environment, Forests, and Climate Change. It is the 53rd tiger reserve in the nation. The Ministry also gave preliminary approval for Kumbhalgarh in Rajasthan to be designated as a tiger reserve. Ranthambore Tiger Reserve, Sariska Tiger Reserve, Mukundra Hills Tiger Reserve, and Ramgarh Vishdhari Tiger Reserve are the other four tiger reserves in Rajasthan.
