India's first liquid mirror telescope, the International Liquid Mirror Telescope (ILMT), has been installed at the Devasthal Observatory in Uttarakhand, India. The ILMT is the largest liquid mirror telescope in Asia and the first liquid mirror telescope designed exclusively for astronomical observations.
