On September 17, 2023, India will commemorate the National Logistics Policy's first anniversary. On September 17, 2022, Prime Minister Narendra Modi introduced the National Logistics Policy (NLP) as an addition to the PM GatiShakti National Master Plan (NMP). The PM GatiShakti NMP focuses on the integrated development of fixed infrastructure and network planning, whereas the NLP is concerned with the development of the logistics sector and soft infrastructure, including, among other things, process reforms, betterment of logistics services, digitization, human resource development, and skilling.
