The Union Agriculture Minister introduced the PM-Kisan Mobile App with Face Authentication Feature to enable e-KYC for farmers participating in the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme. The app has been expanded to state government officers in order to assist 500 farmers with e-KYC. It enables farmers to complete the process remotely by scanning their face without the need for an OTP or fingerprint.
