On the occasion of World Forestry Day, the Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh recently unveiled the Mukhyamantri Vriksh Sampada Yojana (Chief Minister Tree Wealth Scheme). In accordance with this plan, the state government will offer a full financial subsidy for tree planting on parcels of land up to 5 acres in size and a 50% financial subsidy on parcels larger than 5 acres.
