China holds the largest weighting of approximately 30% on the MSCI Emerging Market Index (Emerging Markets), a globally tracked indicator. India is currently ranked second on the Index with a weighting of 15.5%, while Taiwan's weighting is 15.11%. The weighting of India increased from 12.97% at the end of January. India's share could increase to roughly 18.5% if South Korea were to move from the emerging market to the developed market category.
