The Global Partnership on Artificial Intelligence (GPAI) has recently held its third annual summit in Japan, where France, the outgoing Council Chair, gave India the presidency for the years 2022–2023. Following the assumption of the G20 Presidency, a league of the world's largest economies, comes this development. The inaugural Asian city to host this summit is Tokyo. Four themes were covered in the meeting: commercialization and innovation, future of work, data governance, and responsible AI.
