The second stage of China's Five-Hundred Aperture Spherical Telescope (FAST) expansion has commenced. With a diameter of 500 meters and a reception area equivalent to 30 football fields, FAST, which is situated in Guizhou Province, is the biggest and most sensitive radio telescope in the world.
