The National Judicial Data Grid now has case data from the Supreme Court. The NJDG portal is a central location for data on cases started, continued, and resolved by federal courts nationwide. "Onboarding of Supreme Court data on NJDG portal under the open data policy is a step on our part to bring transparency and accountability in the judicial domain," said Chief Justice of India DY Chandrachud. Currently, litigants have access to information about the status of 23.81 billion cases and more than 23.02 billion orders and judgments.
