India was the Chandrayaan-3 lander module, making it the fourth nation to successfully land on the moon. The Lander Module (LM) of ISRO's ambitious Chandrayaan-3, the third Moon mission, landed on the moon. It is now only the fourth nation to have done so, and the first to have reached the unexplored south pole of Earth's only natural satellite.
