Which nation's Odesa Port City has been featured in the news?

Despite opposition from Russia, the historic center of the Ukrainian port city of Odesa has been listed by UNESCO as a threatened World Heritage site. Since Russia invaded Ukraine, Odesa, also known as the pearl of the Black Sea, has been bombed numerous times. In addition to the Saint-Sophia Cathedral in Kyiv and the historic district of the western city of Lviv, seven other Ukrainian locations have been included on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
