In a historic summit, Saudi Arabia's Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and India's Prime Minister Narendra Modi held the first meeting of the 2019-founded India-Saudi Arabia Strategic Partnership Council (SPC). The Committee on Political, Security, Social, and Cultural Cooperation and the Committee on Economy and Investments, each with varying levels of engagement, are the council's two main pillars. The 50 billion dollar West Coast refinery project will move forward, the two countries agreed.
