The SSLV-D2 small satellite launch vehicle successfully completed its second developmental flight, according to the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO). It launched three satellites into a 450 km-circular orbit: the Earth Observation Satellite (EOS 07) of ISRO, the Janus-1 spacecraft of the American company Antaris, and the AzaadiSAT-2 spacecraft of the Chennai-based space start-up SpaceKidz.
