The portal for mapping industrial units and laboratories was launched on the 76th Foundation Day of the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS). The National Building Code of India (NBC 2016), the National Electrical Code of India (2023), the Standards National Action Plan (SNAP) 2022–2027, and standards clubs in schools were also introduced by the Commerce and Industry Ministry.
