In less than five months after its launch, 365 hospitals in 25 states and Union Territories of India have embraced the Scan and Share service of the National Health Authority. It was introduced as a part of the Digital Ayushman Bharat Mission. Using a special QR code shown by participating hospitals, the service allows for the instantaneous and paperless generation of tokens for outpatient department registration.
