According to a recently published United Nations report, more children in South Asia than any other region in the world are suffering from acute water scarcity that is made worse by climate change. In South Asia, the greatest number of any region worldwide, 347 million children under the age of eighteen suffer from high or extremely high water scarcity, according to a report from the UN children's agency.
