A satellite built by 750 girls from government schools will be launched by an Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) launch vehicle by Space Kidz India, a space technology start-up based in Chennai. The satellite known as AzaadiSAT has a target launch date of January 16. For this mission, Space Kidz India chose 10 female students from 75 government schools across the nation. Niti Aayog also lends support to the endeavor.
