According to the Jharkhand Reservation of Vacancies in Posts and Services (Amendment) Bill, 2022, the percentage of jobs reserved for SC, ST, and OBC communities as well as the Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) would increase from 60 to 77 percent. This bill was recently returned to the government by the governor of Jharkhand with instructions to review it.
