An order to conduct a caste survey in the state of Rajasthan has been issued by the government. After Bihar, it will be the second state in India to conduct such a survey. On the anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi's birth, Bihar had previously revealed the findings of its caste survey, which showed that 63 percent of the state's population belonged to the Other Backward Classes (OBCs) and Extremely Backward Classes (EBCs).
