With the help of the Mappls App, a navigation tool created by MapMyIndia, Punjab has become the first state in India to map every one of the 784 accident black spots. Gaurav Yadav, the Director General of Police (DGP) of Punjab, announced this initiative as a part of the planning for the launching of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann's "Sadak Suraksha Force."
