Kerala's Kottayam and Kozhikode cities of Kumarakom and Beypore have been chosen for development under the Swadesh Darshan 2.0 Scheme. The two locations are among 34 others from 19 states and union territories that were chosen under the Ministry of Tourism's program. Kerala has many locations designated as part of the Swadesh Darshan scheme 1.0's eco, spiritual, and rural circuits.
