Recently, a Space System Design Lab was opened in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. It aims to encourage the development and increase the contribution of India's private space companies. The Indian National Space Promotion and Authorization Centre (IN-SPACe) is behind the initiative. 16 workstations and multi-core servers for high-performance computing make up the lab's computing resources.
