Which state introduces the Mukhya Mantri Harit Vikas Chhattravriti Yojana?

In the annual budget for Himachal Pradesh for 2024–25, the Mukhya Mantri Harit Vikas Chhattravriti Yojana for postgraduate researchers is unveiled, giving environmental concerns top priority. During the presentation on February 17, Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu highlighted the threats posed by climate change and provided an outline of district and Panchayat action plans. In order to effectively mitigate the effects of climate change on agriculture and horticulture, the state intends to work with the Union Ministry of Environment, Forest, and Climate Change as well as the German development organization GIZ. To this end, a need assessment study will be carried out.
