In each of the state's 75 districts, the government of Uttar Pradesh began a 15-day campaign to register Micro, Small, and Medium-Sized Enterprises (MSMEs). The campaign aims to provide all of the benefits of the state government's schemes to the approximately 14 lakh MSMEs who have not yet registered with the MSME Udyam portal. The number of active MSMEs in the state exceeds 90 lakh, but only 14 lakh are officially registered.
