The Union Ministers of State for Health and Family Welfare introduced the Kilkari program, an m-health project for Maharashtra and Gujarat. It offers registered women 72 free weekly audio messages about pregnancy, childbirth, and childcare as part of its centralized IVR-based mobile health services. Kilkari, which is hosted by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, integrates with the centralized RCH portal, which is currently in use in 18 states and territories, and does not require any extra funding from the states or UTs.
