Every year, from April 24 to 30, people celebrate "World Immunization Week" to raise awareness of the value of vaccinations. It was founded by the World Health Assembly in 2012 and is currently present in more than 180 nations. "Humanly Possible: Immunization for All" is the theme for 2024, and it highlights the importance of providing vaccines to everyone. Smallpox and polio have been completely eradicated thanks to vaccination campaigns. International immunization campaigns also benefit from "European Vaccination Week" and "National Child Immunization Week" in India.
