The 51st National Carrom Championship saw three-time world champion Rashmi Kumari win her 12th national women's singles title after defeating K Nagajothi 25-8, 14-20, 25-20. Rashmi, who works for ONGC, won the women's final. In the men's division, K Srinivas defeated S Aditya 25-0, 19-6 to win his fourth national singles championship. He displayed remarkable skill with seven white slams.
