According to Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya, the government has opened all 1.5 lakh Ayushman Bharat Health and Wellness Centers across the nation. By December 2022, the government had set a goal to convert 1.5 lakh Sub-Health Centers (SHCs) and rural and urban Primary Health Centers (PHCs) nationwide into AB-HWCs under Ayushman Bharat.
