They released three communiqués denouncing Iran's actions and promising sanctions in the midst of Iran's attack on Israel and the ongoing hostilities in Gaza and Ukraine. EU delegates joined. The ministers urged a de-escalation of the situation and urged Israel and Iran to stop future hostilities. As the chair of the G7, Italy hosted the important diplomatic meeting.
