The Himachal Pradesh government has decided to offer the Indira Gandhi Mahila Samman Nidhi, which will give all women in the Spiti valley between the ages of 18 and 60 Rs. 1,500 per month. Women who are eligible include nuns and Chhomos. In order to facilitate business transactions, the cabinet also approved the introduction of electronic stamping in the State for the collection of stamp duty.
