The President has now granted the Justice G. Rohini-led commission for the subclassification of other backward classes (OBCs) one more extension of its mandate. The Union Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment made this announcement. The commission has been granted a tenure extension for the fourteenth time. October 2017 saw the formation of the commission.
