Jitendra Singh, Union Minister of State (IC) for Science and Technology, unveiled a new variety of Lotus flower with 108 petals. The National Botanical Research Institute (NBRI), a division of the CSIR with headquarters in Lucknow, developed the lotus known as "NBRI Namoh 108."
