The Indian Army contingent left for the Tenth Joint Military Exercise "LAMITIYE-2024" in the Seychelles. This biennial occasion, which in Creole means "Friendship," promotes collaboration between the Seychelles Defence Forces (SDF) and the Indian Army. The goal of the 45 participants from each side is to improve interoperability in Sub-conventional Operations. In accordance with UN Charter Chapter VII, the exercise fosters bilateral military ties by exchanging knowledge, expertise, and tactical drills in a semi-urban setting.
