Karnataka and the Wildlife Trust of India have introduced the HAWK system, or Hostile Activity Watch Kernel. It is specialized software for managing wildlife-related crimes. Up until now, 35,000 cases of crimes against wildlife and forest crimes have been uploaded. Forest and wildlife offenses will be included in the system.
