To improve security along the India-Pakistan border, the Border Security Force has begun the "Ops Alert" exercise. The "Ops Alert" exercise will continue from Sir Creek to the Rann of Kutch in Gujarat and the Barmer district of Rajasthan along the international border between India and Pakistan. The exercise was being conducted to counteract the negative intentions of anti-national elements during the celebrations of Republic Day.
