For the month of December 2022, the annual rate of inflation based on the Wholesale Price Index (WPI) for all of India is 4.95%. The percentage was 5.85% as of November 2022. Prices for food items, mineral oils, crude oil, natural gas, textiles, chemicals, and chemical products all fell in December, which significantly lowered the inflation rate.
